Michael Lacy

Coach Lacy graduated from Huntington Beach High School in 2015, where he was a 3-Year Varsity player for the Oilers. His development and accomplishments in a difficult Sunset League resulted in All-Sunset League accolades. During his playing days, Coach Lacy also played for multiple club teams, including: Brady’s Bunch, Rip City, and Team Maryland.

Upon graduating from Huntington Beach, Coach Lacy turned around and started coaching for his alma mater. He enters his 6th year overall coaching for the Oilers, and has split his time up with 2 years as the JV Head Coach and now 4 years as the Varsity Head Coach. His success at Huntington Beach has been noticeable with multiple playoff appearances and a program-wide Sunset League Championship in 2017.
